3 Hour London Street Photography Workshop

6 Hour London Street Photography Workshop

One to One 3 hour London Street Photography Experience- £305

I do 3 hour Street Photography experiences in London for 1 or 2 people. Starting at The British Museum, you will learn the difference between taking a photograph and making a picture, I will introduce you to Street Photography as an approach and over the next three hours we will walk through some of my favourite places to shoot, developing your skills and vision. As we go I will show you some wonderful historic photographs made on the same streets and we will go on to make pictures there to add to that historic record. I am very used to photographers of all levels and can work with you to expand your understanding from whatever starting point. Ideal for visitors to London to see the City while learning Photography.

Schedule:

10am – Meet for coffee and an introduction to Street Photography at The British Museum

10.30am-11am – Candid Photography around the Museum focusing on composition and curating pictures.

11am-1pm – Street Photography through the West End taking in Charring Cross Rd, China Town, Piccadilly Circus and finishing in Trafalgar Square.

Please email me with any questions regarding a booking.

One to One 6 hour London Street Photography Experience – £590

My one day London Street Photography Experience is an intense and intimate 6 hours of Street Photography theory, understanding and practice that draws upon my 30 plus years of street shooting. You will ideally be a reasonably competent general photographer who is looking to understand the tradition of the genre but also ready to dive in and contribute to its contemporary resurgence. My approach is to change the way you think about seeing and recording the public realm then head out on to the streets so I can be at your shoulder to open your eyes to the potential and possibility while we shoot together.

Schedule:

10am – Meet for coffee and an hour of introduction, theory and discussion about Street Photography

11am-1pm – One to One Street shooting, how to find, see and make pictures.

1pm-2pm – Lunch with Nick

2pm-5pm – One to One Street shooting exploring particular picture making strategies and approaches.

5pm – A drink and synopsis of the days learning.

Please email me with any questions regarding a booking.
